July's Market was SO Much Fun!

Not much to say really ... except that Saturday's market was AWESOME! The weather was bright and sunny, the visitors were aplenty, the band was so much fun and the art was fantastic (of course!).

Thanks go out to you all who braved the annoying construction. That was a weird surprise, but whatevs. It really didn't effect things much.

The Ballston A&C Market continues to succeed and thrive thanks to YOU the talented artisans and wonderful supporters. Now, check out some photos from July's show.

And artist, Meg Robinson, will be debuting her new line of "Emoti-Monsters," who are a highly skilled, elite group of working actors that are especially good at realistically producing one specific emotion.

The Music of Katie & Logan - July 9th

Music makes everything better, and that even includes craft shows! On July 9th, we have some extra-special guests joining us at the Market. Meet local acoustic duo, Katie & Logan!

Katie & Logan are a Northern Virginia based muscial team featuring two guitars, vocal harmonies and the occasional harmonica and ukulele (yah!).  Thier song list ranges anywhere from artists such as The Beatles, James Taylor, and Janis Joplin to Taylor Swift, John Mayer and The Black Eyed Peas.

Jill Popowich Designs in Metal - July 9th

Since she was a little girl  Jill Popowich, the talent behind Jill Popowich Designs in Metal, loved jewelry. She was intrigued with designing and creating.  As an adult, Jill works as an Environmental Graphic Designer and has had the opportunity to travel the world working on large-scale retail environments designing signage, sculptures and architectural details.

It is this large scale 3-D work that re-sparked her interest in jewelry design and the opportunity to build something that can be interacted with on a personal scale.

And, you can now interact with Jill and all of her colorful and wonderful jewelry designs at the next Ballston A&C Market on Saturday, July 9th!
